Theoretical teaching forms part of the learning necessary for becoming a STANZA/ISST Certified Sandplay Therapist. Teaching is by ISST accredited Teaching Members (CST-Ts) who meet the highest international standard.
Some programs will be held in person and others online. They may have prerequisites, and these will be specified. Professional Development certificates will be provided by the individual presenter stating their qualifications and number of hours that count towards CST certification or continuing Professional Development.
It is up to each individual sandplay therapist / trainee to make themselves aware of the requirements for certification. STANZA/ISST may recognise theoretical trainings offered by recognised overseas ISST member organisations.
