Heather Lesley-Swan practices in Sydney as an Analytic Psychotherapist, Sandplay Therapist, and Supervisor. Heather has presented public, in-house and University programs in Australia, Europe, UK, USA and Asia. She has lectured in depth Sandplay Therapy in Singapore, USA, Europe and Sydney. In 2015 Heather established the Australia New Zealand Institute for Sandplay Therapy to offer access to depth Sandplay Therapy training to ISST’s standards, previously only available overseas.

Heather’s generosity extends to time freely offered to qualified therapists and teachers in all fields to ensure questions are authentically answered in relation to Sandplay Therapy and their appropriate training investment in their service careers. She is always contactable via email to admin@stanza.asn.au, and will respond promptly.

Heather was the first Certified Sandplay Therapist then Teaching Member in Australia. In recent years she as enjoyed her attendance at the CG Jung Institute, Zurich. She anticipates graduating as a Swiss-trained Jungian Analyst in 2022.

Mary undertook her training in Psychology, Sandplay Therapy and Play Therapy after studies in Law. She became the first internationally certified Sandplay Therapist and Teaching Member in her home state of Victoria.

Mary has worked with children, adolescents and their families in Melbourne, London and Vancouver, across a range of schools, NGO’s, juvenile justice and private practice. She is a much sought consultant/presenter to various child-focussed agencies, and is current Psychologist Team Leader in an assessment and treatment centre for children healing from trauma and/or suspected abuse.

Mary has published widely, especially in the International Journal of Sandplay Therapy and the International Journal of Children’s Spirituality.

In 2022 The Australia New Zealand Sandplay Institute will offer several programs over the Zoom conference platform, with international and local Sandplay Therapy presenters.
